Join Us in Las Vagas for the 2020 Annual Convention

What sets the AGC of America Annual Convention apart from similar events organized by the other industry groups is that this is the only event of its kind organized by and for contractors. While other organizers are ultimately selling their content or products, AGC of America is focused on connecting members of this industry with each other so they can solve common challenges, share their success stories and focus on making our industry even more successful.

When the several thousand people who attend the AGC of American Annual Convention gather at the Bellagio from March 9th through 12th next year, the entire program will have been curated by contractors with the sole purpose of helping members of the industry be even more successful. That is why the convention program will focus on key issues like addressing workforce shortages, successfully adopting new technologies, new efficiency techniques, and ways to diversify and strengthen the future leadership of our industry.

AGC’s Annual Convention educational sessions are led by contractors sharing their own experiences. These contractors aren’t there to sell products or services; they are members of this association who are committed to helping make our industry even more successful. The lessons they share are based on their actual experiences and the solutions they’ve identified to solve common problems.

Learning isn’t limited to the formal education programs at the Annual Convention, however. The event is organized in a way to maximize sharing and learning from your fellow industry professionals throughout the program. This peer-to-peer learning can take place during the ample networking time built into the program, as well as at events such as the Willis Towers Watson Construction Safety Excellence Awards or the Build America Awards, as industry leading firms share their success stories.

The AGC Annual Convention brings together one of the largest groups of commercial construction industry leaders who all have the same interests to advance and the same challenges to overcome. Even better, the 2020 Annual Convention is part of the broader ConExpo/ConAGG show. This triennial event is one of the largest displays of construction equipment, machinery and technology solutions in the world and, as a result, one of the largest gatherings of construction professionals in this country. Your Annual Convention registration includes admission to this not-miss event.

If getting excellent content, learning from your peers, and exploring the largest showcase of construction equipment and solutions is not enough, the other benefit of participating in the Annual Convention is the opportunity to play a vital role in improving our industry. This is an active event, not a passive one. Attending members engage in solving the industry’s most-pressing challenges. AGC is the one place where contractors gather to advocate for their industry as a key part of improving their future outlook.

Finally, the AGC of Texas is proud to induct one of its own to the top job in the country. Mr. Bob Lanham of Williams Brothers will assume the leadership role of president during the event.

AGC is the only group in this country whose mission is ensuring the continued success of the entire construction industry. That is why we advocate for federal, state and local measures that support the industry. That is why we provide opportunities for firms to learn more about ways to become more accomplished. And that is why we constantly connect construction professionals with the resources and individuals they need to be successful businesses and corporate citizens. And you can see all of that in action by attending our 2020 Annual Convention in Las Vegas.

That is why we are looking forward to seeing all of you at the Bellagio on the 9th of March.
