Images of AGC Events and the people that make it happen

Nationwide, almost half of highway construction firms reported having motor vehicles crash into their work zones during the past year.

This year marks the 21st anniversary of the creation of the Chapter Scholarship Program, and its success has been incredible.

On all projects and in every AGC aera meeting, safety is a permanent fixture at the top of the agenda, and massive amounts of man hours and revenue are spent in its service.

A chief architect of a hefty highway-funding proposal visited AGC Chapter headquarters in early June and thanked members for helping to educate Texans about the state’s struggle to handle increasing traffic congestion and safety issues.

Recently, TXDOT's construction division has undertaken several initiatives and material-requirement changes.

With the grand slam homerun that ended the 84th Session of the Texas Legislature, State Senator Robert Nichols has assured his future election to the Highway Hall of Fame.

Congratulations on a job well done— you just get better every year!

I'm thrilled to report that the AGC of Texas emerged from the just-concluded Texas legislative session with the opportunity for an historic achievement in funding the state’s transportation infrastructure.
